Thank you, EM. In thinking about this, I realize that the only thing I miss more than my son and the violinist is lessons/working/playing at that intensity. Music teachers at that level can be awfully full of attitude and truly disregard the human side of a student, so the combination of gifted music coaching and compassion may be hard to find. Since my friend (who had the same teacher back in college and really knows me and what went down) is now a colleague of these potential teachers and knows some personally, I’m hopeful about finding such a match. My other friend was sure right about the life coach!

It’s kind of fun to see the weight melting away fairly effortlessly so far. It’s an average of 2 pounds a week since I started with the coach. The green smoothies have eliminated my particular craving (chocolate) and made life so much easier food-wise.

For the teasecake (to freeze bon bons of it), I made the Tulsa one .. chocolate chile. I swear the first sauce part could be marketed for a fortune .. it’s sooooo good!!!!! I’m tempted just to make the sauce but dare not. I can be satisfied with a bon bon or 2 of teasecake but the sauce ... well ... it makes the blender turn into Mama Bird and I just want to be Baby Bird, tilting my head back with mouth open and pouring it in! I feel the same about Jo’s lemon liquid part ... definitely sauce-worthy .. mmmmm! I think I need to freeze some Lemon Teasecake bon bons today ... yep! Oh, it works with pre-cooked you-know-what ... just warm it up for a few seconds in the microwave and blend away. I cook extra now and keep it in the fridge for nearly instant prep. Hmmm .. maybe ODing *is* a possibility! ;)

Is your pottery class over? Any news about the (mosaic?) class you really wanted to take but couldn’t get into?

Happy Friday to you, too.

Jigs,
Janet
