To avoid the sugar problem you shoud brush your teeth right afterwards. And a trick i use to feel full is that while im chewing and spitting if i feel the urge to swallow then i will keep a bottle of water near. rinse your mouth out with the water (DONT SWALLOW IT: it will rinse out any leftover particles that dont get spit all the way out) then take large drinks of water in between like every 10 mouthfuls of food you spit out. it makes you feel full but it doesnt have calories. I have been doing this for a few months on top of my anorexia and ive notice that it takes care of the cravings and i havent had any urges to actually eat anything since i started.
