It all depends on what you are eating in addition to the chewing and spitting. I have lost weight chewing and spitting because then I do not take in all of those calories I would have if I had given in and eaten it. What I do take in is minimal. So I do lose weight. If you are eating a lot of calories, not exercising and chewing and spitting you will still gain weight. Also, it depends on what you chewing and spitting because it is difficult to spit it all completely out and how much are chewing and spitting. I am losing more weight chewing and spitting the 'bad' foods than I did when I ate them.
