I have taken Celexa for 10 years now, my doctor said it was one of the newest anti-depressents at the and less side affect. I had a total hysterectomy and he placed me on it. I have tried several times to slowly get off of it, but I cant, it does help me. But i have gained 100 pounds over the past 10 years, it did not happen over night, it just started gradually over a period of time, and before I could turn around it was 10 pds, 20 pds,30pds and it did not seem that anything i did helped me lose weight. none of my eating habits changed. I know i am getting a little older but (good griff) i have never been over weight and after having my 3rd child i dropped back down to 114..i had never weighed over 128 in my life until the medication and now I weigh 220. I do not understand what happened, no one in my family is obese, the only thing after this amount of time that has come to my conclusion that it is the celexa Anyone have some really good adive, or success stories after soemthing life this, i could sure use them
