I started doing this over a year ago... Before then, I was in the best shape of my life and happy. One night, during a rough, drawn out break up, I sat myself down to eat a lot of cookies to deal with stress. Half way through the bag, I decided that the cookie I was chewing, I didn't really want... So I spit it out. And finished the rest of the cookies in the manner. I began replacing meals with this habit and probably went weeks without consciously swallowing any food. I quickly fell down to 120 pounds (tiny for my broad, 5'7'' frame). A year later, I'm in my second semester of college and wiegh 135 pounds. In part because now I am forced to eat regular meals when out with friends, but still go through and entire pizza just by chewing. I was so relieved when I found this site. It's reassuring to know that there are possibly thousands of girls (and guys) that do this too...
