Hello everyone/anyone! So I recently became a full-on vegan by accident, and I am actually so excited! I picked up "Veganist" at Barnes and Noble thinking it was just a cookbook, and overnight I was hooked on a plant-based whole foods diet. Which also means that my life and dieting habits turned around incredibly fast. That was only 10 days ago, and it sparked my curiosity so much, that I started "Eat to Live" and "Skinny Bitch" this week also. I can't seem to learn enough fast enough! Here is where my problem lies: I am a student in college, which essentially means that my sleep schedule changes day-to-day. Some nights I can be in bed by 10:30, whereas others I may stay awake studying until clear past midnight. On nights like these I am obviously hungry, being that I haven't eaten in 5-6 hours, so I am trying hard not to snack/eat an unneeded meal so late at night. But what should I do? How do I avoid the overwhelming desire to put food in my mouth? It usually happens this late that I also eat my breads, peanut butter, veggie chips, etc... things that are on the minimal list. Totally defeats all of the healthy progress I made during the day. Help. I think I'm hungry. Can't really tell. Thanks for any input!!
