Hi everyone, my question is about how many calories I should eat on ETL to loose weight at a moderate pace. My background story is this: I have been vegan for 7 years, but really would eat almost anything as long as it was vegan on a fairly regular basis In the last couple years I have been playing around with raw food diets, but I hate the high fat gourmet stuff, it is too rich for me, so I went toward the 80/10/10 diet by Dr.Doug Graham. I loved this high fruit way of eating, but I found my self food obsessed, since I am a vegan chef by occupation, and wanted cooked flavors and textures, so I ended up eating lots of non 80/10/10 things by the end of the day. Beans were a major thing I was eating a lot, so I started to think about doing 80/10/10 with the addition of beans. That is when I stumbled across ETL. I dont have a lot of weight to loose, about 15 - 20 lbs, and I will go from a curvy, somewhat chubby vegan, to a sexy, lean, athletic vegan. My BMI is about 1420 cals, and the amount of cals I burn per day doing other activites is another 1065 cals. Will I still loose weight on ETL, just by cutting fat/salt/excessive starch, or do I need to restrict cals as well? Thanks for your help!
