See above Campbell's latest post "A Primer on Statistics". Describes how statistical data and methods of analysis fit into the larger context of uncovering truth in science (citing examples from the China Project and other research in nutrition and disease) and the problems and limitations of using stats (including attempting to infer cause and effect). Also of course directly relates these concepts to interpreting the China Project data with regard to the findings of the China Study. Very informative and worthwhile read, at least for a geeky vego like myself. :)
