I have these. More detailed info, more geared toward the "beginner", which is good. Book 2 has a very comprehensive "transition" diet with four phases which progressively grow in phytonutrient content and eventually eliminates most grain and all animal products. I will say that phase 4 is a *little* low on the grain side (slightly restrictive), but if you are a regular exerciser, probably don't need to go that low on grains. Worth buying, for sure.
