Tim is right about nacl and table salt but imo seaweed not the same as nacl. Seaweed is organically bonded to trace minerals and who's to said if these trace minerals are harmful or beneficial. In large amounts some of these trace minerals are harmful and in small amounts they are beneficial. For the pollution in seaweed, the body can handle some toxins especially if there's a desire need for minerals. Tim state there's inorganic nacl surrounding seaweed. What's is he talking about,"the surface of the seaweed", if that's the case just rinse it off with h2o. Seaweed is a plant, it will absorb minerals and convert them to chelated form. There's no inorganic nacl in the actual seaweed but it was a good article anyway.
