I'm on this board because I'm trying to get BACK on Dr. Fuhrman's ETL plan. I noticed your post and know none of your history. But I do know this....I did the ETL plan hard core about 5 years ago. Lost 35 pounds in 6 months and never felt better in my life. So why am I back?? Because I did the ultimate "no-no" and ate the same things over and over and got SICK of what I was eating. When I first started the "plan", I felt like I had been run over by a steam roller followed by a dump truck. I hurt in places that I didn't even know I had. When I would "stray" and then get back on course, I'd have some of those symptoms again but milder. Severe headaches as well. So, I personally think it's a detox that you're putting yourself through by going back-n-forth. One thing Dr. Fuhrman mentions in the book that always comes to mind is "a drug addict feels awful without his drugs....does that mean he should run into the nearest alley to 'score'". LOL. Something to that effect...I'm reading the book again and trying to get hooked up in this forum to motivate me to get my life straight food-wise. Be blessed.
Kay
