no, if you're eating all raw vegan, you definitely don't have to give up bananas to lose weight. in fact, bananas make a great meal, once you get used to eating a few at a time. check out doug grahams forum on this site for more on this. with as much activity as you are getting, you probably don't need to worry about nuts either, as long as you're not getting most of your calories from them. there are so many different schools of thought about raw, in terms of the perfect ratio of carbs protein fat, it's hard to know which raw path to follow. i've tried a few short weeks with raw in the past, and when i try it again next month, i think i will just pay attention to how i feel and adjust my diet day by day, rather than try to work out the perfect ratio. one tip: getting enough greens is the key to feeling great on raw, so put some in a fruit smoothie, juice them with fruit, eat a giant salad, or all of the above every day
