And instead of dairy, try some non-dairy beverages such as small amounts of soymilk, almond Breeze almond milk is sooooo good, rice milk, which I personally don't use, hemp milk which is thick and rich.
But of course in moderation, as posted below -- if you're going nuts for choc milk you can put a small amount of choc syrup into almond milk and enjoy. OK everybody, don't get mad at me for suggesting that, when someone is a newbie it can help tremendously to have an alternative, at least at first.
