5. Are consultations with Dr. Fuhrman affordable? Since my
condition disables me from work, I cannot spend too much money.
Yes, personal phone consults with doctors do tend to be
expensive, and normally it isn't covered by insurance, so you end
up paying out of pocket.
The best option is really to join the member website. I think it
costs $35 for the first 6 weeks, but that includes an e-book version
of the Eat to Live book, which would work out well for you since
you haven't got the book yet anyway. After the initial expense, it
costs $7.95 a month, which is really a great value for all that you
get. You would have the opportunity to have all your questions
answered directly by Dr. Fuhrman, as well as have discussions with
and ask questions of the other members, some of whom will be
dealing with the very same health issues that you are. The
opportunity to compare notes, share your experiences, and
support each other can be very helpful to your recovery.
Dr. Fuhrman has monthly tele-conferences for the members, and if
you can't particpate live, the calls are all recorded so that you can
listen to them at your convenience. They are really great because
Dr. Fuhrman always keeps up with the latest research findings
related to topics of interest, and keeps us all up to date. He gives
a little talk, and then opens the line up to take questions.
The member site really contains a wealth of information, which is
intended to turn us all into experts on health and nutrition.
Knowledge is power, and once you really understand this
tremendous body of knowledge, it makes your path of action much
clearer and straightforward to follow through on.
