Yup you are losing both fat and muscle unfortunately. This is a natural consequence of fat loss - you body does not perceive that it 'needs' that muscle to carry the fat around. So it gets rid of it together. You do need to do strength training - try get a personal trainer to devise a program for you and work with you until you are confident that you have the proper form so that you don't injure yourself. |
