I never have been a salt lover, and I rarely ever added salt to anything at the table before leaving SAD. I still use some salt when cooking for myself, but I don't use much. My dad comes over once per week to visit and dine with my family. Even though I use the amount of salt called for in the recipes of the SAD foods I cook, my dad still adds salt. He got a plate full of food last week, and then he immediately picked up the salt shaker and generously sprinkled salt all over the food. He hadn't even tasted it first to see if it needed salt. I'm glad I didn't pick up that bad habit from him.
