This way of eating has become a way of life for me which I really enjoy, so going off this diet does not feel like a treat to me, rather if I'm put in a situation where I can't get the kind of food I've grown to enjoy I am resentful. I know this may be difficult to relate to, but when people follow this diet-style they do lose their old cravings, and going off the diet ends up being something that we really don't enjoy or look forward to doing. I recently went on a business trip where I ended up having to eat in restaurants that I really didn't want to go to, and couldn't get enough of the food I wanted to eat. I ended up relying on dried nuts and fruits alot because they were an easy to carry along emergency food, but easy to over-eat, so I gained a pound while I was gone. Some of it might have also been due to sodium that my body wasn't used to. Anyway, after being home a week the pound I gained seems to be gone.
