A little over a year ago I did the E2L plan and lost around 30 lbs. My cholesterol was also at its lowest after less than 3 months on E2L. I have intended to start back for a year now and never make the full commitment. I have gained back 10 of the 30 pounds and I found out today my cholesterol is up where it started before E2L, which is entirely too high. I feel awful for letting the good things that happened as a result of E2L just slip away. I am a complusive over-eater and haven't been making good food choices for approx. 30% of my food intake. I'm mentally and physically ready to change that and commit fully. I remember how great I felt on E2L and I remember how proud I felt with my success. This board was instrumental in getting me started and keeping me going. Somewhere around the 3 month mark things fell apart. The E2L board moved at a snail's pace last summer from lack of interest, people joining the yahoo group, or just moving on or dropping out. I do read the yahoo group from time to time but I don't care for the format. I prefer this board and hope to participate here again and hopefully it's a little busier than the last time I checked. It looks like it might be! Yea! I have to get my kitchen stocked up tomorrow and will be ready to start on Monday. I'm looking forward to all the great things this way of eating brings to my life. Chumly good luck to you and to everyone else as well. Hope to see everyone talking about their experience!
