Since I want my body to be in detox mode for as long as possible, I start with nothing but water until 7 am. Then I have a green smoothie made with lettuce, cucumber, parsley and a grapefruit. I eat 2-3 pieces of fruit and drink lots of water from 8:30 to noon. I've lost 85 pounds so far, and my energy is way up there.
