Nuts, seeds, and dried fruit are the only things I can think of that would be transportable and provide enough calories for a job like that. The only other thing I can think of is to look at the food you are eating for breakfast and dinner. You may be able to tweak your food in those areas to cut calories. Are you a bike messenger?
