I have the HIGHEST regard for Dr. McDougall and his plan. I've been following it and feel healthier than I have in years! I believe in it 100% for its health benefits. I didn't have much to lose, only about 10-15 pounds, but I'm discouraged. I exercise daily, at least a 45 min. walk, but I've not lost weight, and lately it feels and looks like I'm gaining! I haven't gotten on the scale but my clothes are much tighter and my stomach is noticeably bigger. This is causing me to get a little concerned. I don't mind NOT losing the 10-15 lbs if I trade better health for that. But GAINING weight is not acceptable! I'm suspecting that women may have more trouble losing than men and that may be part of it. I just want to know if anyone else out there has experienced this??? I'm thinking of switching to Eat To Live, but I'm really gonna miss those healthy starches (unprocessed is all I eat). Any advice?? Thanks!
