One thing that I really like the on the McDougall board is that people will write in and list what they are eating. I have been doing McDougall since December (lost 47 lbs), but have swapped over to ETL. I have high blood pressure and REALLY want to get off of the medication, so I was intrigued by ETL.

I am just curious if there are any suggestions (additions/deletions) to my daily routine that could put me on a better track. I really try to fit in 4 fruits, 1 lb cooked greens, 1 cup lentils/beans, 1 lb raw each day. It seems like that is all I am eating and just stuffed at times (eventhough, I feel better than I have in years).

Today, my menu:

BKST: 1 pear, 2 apples, 1 banana

LUNCH: 1 cup red beans. 3 cups chopped celery.

DINNER: Spinach salad with lots of vegies. Raspberry
Dressing (17 calories - low sodium). 16 ounces of
cooked green beans.

See anything I am missing? With that - I am stuffed. Sometimes, I add raisins and no salt soy beans to my salad (yum).

I tried throwing in a 1/2 cup of sodium free high fiber granola over the weekend and had the worst bloating and abdominal cramps. So, I cut that out today. I have always been a huge bread fan, but after this weekend, grains do not appeal to me.

THANKS!!!!
