Well, I only have about 10 lbs. to lose, and in the first week I have lost 3. I'm not following the six-week plan exactly, either.
What I've been eating is:
Breakfast: either a smoothie (banana, pineapple and berries usually) or oatmeal with fruit and a few nuts
Lunch: salad (maybe alone or maybe with some cooked veggies on the side) with romaine, tomato, cucumber, carrots, celery and either beans or pumpkin seeds thrown in; I've used a couple of different dressings, and I'm still trying to find a healthy one I like
Dinner: vegetable stew or some combination of a green veggie (kale, asparagus, etc.) and a potato or a sweet potato; I usually put some kind of sauce on the potato (oil-free versions of things in Jo Stepaniak's Saucy Vegetarian book)
And I'm a grazer, so if I get the urge between meals, I usually have an apple or a banana with a few nuts or some peanut butter, or carrots and celery dipped in hummus, or cucumber with a little salt and vinegar
