It's great to hear that you're feeling better! Why did your friend think you were taking too much flax and fish oil? I wouldn't cut back and I would go back to the original plan of 2 tbs of ground flax and 2 tsp of fish oil (I would get metagenics because it's fresh and pure). Also does the multivitamin you take have vitamin A or betacarotene in it? The vitamin A will hurt your condition, not help it.
Definetely pack those cruciferous juices into your daily routine. I make about 2 cups every morning of a high cruciferous juice and I swear by it. It's strange but when I've slacked off on the diet even a little bit and I'm starting to hurt in my finger or toe joints, the juice feels like it sooths the pain after I drink it.
My juice is:
1-2 carrots
about 1/4 cup sliced beet
big handful of parsley
1/4 head of cabbage
5-6 kale leaves (sometimes collards)
