Question: What E2L?! I've seen this a few times, but do not know what it is! When you added grains, did you notice a difference adding gluten-free grains such as Quinoa - if you tried that? Just curious. What about sprouted beans? Garbanzo or lentils? We have done that without tooo much trouble. But even sprouted wheat is bad I think. How about you? Our whole family pretty much on the same eating regime together all the time. Except if my husband and I would fast - then the children will continue to eat. Since we are all raw as of today (!) we try to follow 80-10-10 - but probably eat more fat than 10% I'd guess. We have done the raw gourmet thing and it's way too heavy, too many nuts, just tooo much. We do much better trying to stick closer to Dr. Doug's way - but - it is so hard! I think once summer's here and the U.S. tree fruit comes in season - it will be much easier to go all raw. (cherries, peaches, nectarines . . . m-m-m) It's all more of an emotional thing for me and my children. My husband is a rock and could go raw forever, the rest of us are too food obsessed I guess!!!! We are going to start to add cooked tonight. This weekend we'll stick to steamed veggies and maybe potatoes. We were thinking of trying quinoa with a bunch of raw veggies and see how that goes. I wonder if those gluten-free grains would be different than wheat or spelt. What do you think? Thanks for letting me in this discussion!! It is great to know others have the same thoughts and are trying to figure this all out!!! PS - where in BC are you from if I can ask? I used to frequent Campbell River in the 80's and loved it there. So I am curious. I loved BC. My husband and I took a river rafting trip on the Thompson (I think it was) - wonderful!!!! Actually loved all of BC - the people were awesome!
