You're fine eating that slaw; I eat lots of it raw on top of my salads. Enjoy it!

Dr. F points out in E2L and diseaseproof.com that it is better to eat any produce for the micronutrients; organic is a secondary consideration. He does give a list of particulary pesticide heavy produce and suggests going Organic on those where possible(strawberries, spinach...), but even that's not necessary to get the nutritional excellence of his program. Dr. F. also mentions in his book that virtually all of the studies done on the health benefits of fruits and veggies these past few years have been done using regular grocery bought produce, not organic produce. He has a pretty lengthy article on this whole topic and avoiding pesticides in diseaseproof.com.
