I haven't been to the site you mention, which criticizes low fat vegan diets, however, you may wish to note that Dr. Fuhrman is not in the business of promoting a 'low fat' diet in the first place, rather 'Eat to Live' does include high fat foods such as nuts, and seeds, which you mentioned are part of your diet as well. Eat to Live does not focus on how much we should eat of a particular macro-nutrient such as fat, protein, or carbohydrate, rather the focus is on micro-nutrients. I would highly suggest that you get a hold of a copy of the 'Greatest Diet on Earth' video, as I believe that it would be a very educational and transformational experience for you to see this video. I think it would be perfect for you at this particular juncture. It will be powerful and inspirational for you, and you will no longer have doubts about what you are doing. My husband is a physician who happened to think he knew alot about nutrition before watching the video, but seeing this humbled him and transformed his thinking, and inspired him to read Eat to Live. As far as the book goes, he was very impressed by the quality of documentation, the likes of which he felt he'd never seen before in a book of this type. The references (to well respected, peer reviewed medical publications) are very solid and abundant.
