I live in northern california near the bay area. My Costco carries organic salad greens, carrots, peanut butter, frozen berries and eggs. I also get bananas and apples there, but they are not certified organic. I also have found that Safeway now has their own line of organic foods and I get canned beans, cooked with no salt. So far I am pretty happy with what I can get locally. I have some friends who drive to whole foods weekly, as they are on some special diet for ADD in their children. That is about 30 miles from me.
