First off, make sure you are also eating plenty of greens and other
non-starchy veggies, both cooked and raw. If you eat enough of
the veggies, you may find that there are lower limits to how much
fruit you still feel like eating, because you can only fit so much
food in your stomach before you will be feeling full. Stop eating
when you are full, and don't wait til you are really stuffed. Also,
you might want to consider buying some bags of fruit, since each
piece is fairly small, and it is more economical that way.

To sum up, "unlimited" fruit only means unlimited until satiated,
and that is provided that you've also eaten all the other nutrient
dense foods that you are supposed to, which will aid in the
satiation effect.
