I really don't know yet and am now having some problems with the raw vegetables. The rest (cooked greens, fruit, beans) seems fine, so I'm retreating to steamed veggies for a few days. Raw has been a problem to me in the past.

I will say this - going vegetarian many years ago helped my IBS tremendously, going vegan even more, and dropping cooking oils more than that. The difference with ETL will be the reduction in grains/starchy vegetables and the increase in raw vegetables and fruit. It's quite possible that I will have to land midway between McDougall and ETL.

Good luck!
