Hi Paige,

I live 27 miles out of town. I shop about once a week, sometimes twice. Twice a month is my big trip - I get the major things, the supply things (dried beans, canned tomatoes etc).

Depending on what the produce looks like, I may get up to 5 heads of lettuce (and other leafy greens) at a time (which would be a 5 day's supply, eating a head a day). I have the green veggie bags that help with the longevity of produce.

On my once a week trip I buy the veggies etc that I will need for a specific recipe. I make huge pots to try and make it last nearly a week. I used to want a lot of variety in eating when I ate SAD, but that has changed; I can eat the same thing every day for several days.

HTH,
Savannah
