Hey VT,

Hmmm...that does sound strange. How many beans are ya eating? When I first switched from MWL to E2L I was eating a LOT of beans, figuring I should be eating a lot of calorically dense food to make up for dumping most of the starch, but felt horrible. When I asked about it, I was reminded that veggies are the biggest staple in E2L.

Are you eating the 1 lb raw and 1 lb cooked veggies...MINIMUM? Lots of fruit? Those should all be eaten first before tanking up on beans. Even though beans aren't restricted, they pack in calories. I kept beans to ~1 cup when I started. Now I end up 1-2 cups some days...some days none. Just depends on what dish I've made.

Hope this helps. If not, you might think about checking out the YAHOO E2L group. It's active, with a lot of longer-term E2Lers there, everyone is quite helpful...and it's free! A couple of them belong to DF's list and will even ask him questions for you.

Savannah
