It does incorporate lots of raw foods (fruits, vegetables, and nuts), but it also includes cooked vegetables (both starchy and non-starchy veggies) and beans.

The recommendation for fruit is four servings per day minimum. You can eat more if you like. But you should also be eating the required amounts of the other foods (cooked and raw veggies, nuts, and beans).
