I have not made these recipes and don't know much about this site, but here are some recipes for homemade yogurt using almonds, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, and cashews:

Scroll down the page to the "Nut Milk, Cheese, and Yogurt" list to see the recipes. They also sell dairy-free yogurt starter ("ProGurt").

I think I remember Bryanna once mentioning on her site that rice milk would not work for yogurt, but I'm not sure why.
