The six week plan is explained in the link below. The life plan (in a nutshell) requires that 90% of your food be from unrefined plant sources, but processed foods and/or animal foods can be used as condiments. Animal foods or dairy products are limited to 12 ounces or less each weekly or you can add 100 calories worth of low-nutrient foods such as:

2.5 teaspoons of olive oil
half a bagel
half a cup of pasta
one small cookie
2 ounces of broiled chicken or turkey breast
3 ounces of fish
1.5 ounces of red meat
one thin slice of cheese
one cup of 1 percent or skim milk

"In general, the Life Plan dictates that you aet not more than one or two items of low-nutrient foods daily. Everything else must be unrefined plant food."

You can also eat more grains and starchy vegetables if you wish, but leafy greens and other vegetables should still make up the most of your diet: that is, the diet should NOT be starch-based.

Hope this helps!
