TVP stands for textured vegetable protein and is a form of processed soy (Boca Burgers and other veggie burgers are often made with it). Dr. Fuhrman is not big on using this product or processed soy, but I believe he's ok with it as a "condiment," i.e., on occasion. I did see a recipe or two using it--but can't remember what!
