For those that had NOT tried them, I just opened a jar of the chocolate variety. They are excellent! Gently "chocolate," good taste but not overwhelming, with that subtle, slight tart quality you sometimes get from dates, and also a taste that is reminiscent of cinnamon - but there is no cinnamon in the chocolate variety, so I wonder where I'm getting that... Anyway, they're good, and available through Dr. F's website. RS PS. I've seen some recipes for these, but have always been scared to try - I don't know if I could do it as well!
