Hi, I really didn't feel well yesterday -- lots of intestinal distress and a bad headache all day. Last night I felt like I had to have some rice cakes, which I gave in to. I share your feelings about lettuce and raw vegetables. My system just can't seem to handle the large quantity right now. I don't want to give up because I believe this is the healthiest way to eat. I tend to binge on grains like brown rice and I just can't go back to the diet/binge mode! I've been having only fruit for breakfast, I do love fruit, but was getting too hungry at work. Today I had also had a bowl of oatmeal and I feel better, although I'm still having some intestinal distress. I'm not a salad fan either, and have also been relying on the advocado! I will take your suggestion and get a creamy tofu dressing that I really like and rely on vegetable soup for now. Again, thanks for all of the suggestions posted here. I'm going to print them out.
