I know the facts you're talking about and reducing the amount of livestock needed is necessary for the environment. Hopefully people will do that and also understand that the amount of land needed for vegetarians' food is still large enough to lead entire species of plants, insects, animals, birds, etc, to extinction. My point of land reduction is complicated because it means that environmental organizations should take a role in helping to execute the plans they have by working with industry to seek new methods of food production and whatever else they are concerned about. They really don't do that in a large scale, but it's where their focus should be. At least people on a one-to-one level can communicate this.
