i don't really know why i had so many fruit flys,,i live in a basement and there is never any food or drinks left down here, but i had a water fountain they seemed to be taken to after x-mas ,,i dunno its very cold in my basement so i was surprised to see fruit flys in the winter..but the water/suger/viniger/soap mix has worked very well i'm glad and i'm sure it will be very usfull upstairs in the summer.
