how would this help the environment? I think ridding ourselves of cattle production is a good idea, but raising pine trees alone doesn't seem to solve anything, promote finding a way to grow pine nuts in the lab without needing to harvest the land the pine tree is grown on and you would be doing something good for the environment, but just planting a pine forest and harvesting pine cones can't be as good as a pine forest in which pine cones aren't harvested.
