Hi, I am an Indian and formerly a UF MBA graduate from Gainesville.

Try these tested methods:

Try to find Bitter Gourd, this wont be available in Shoprite, Foodrite, Walmart etc, but in local Indian or Chinese or Asian mom or pop stores. Grind one/ two of these in a food processor and drink a juice (half a glass)made out of it, it will taste bitter. This is a natural defence, dont stop your medication, but add this , I know many people who on regular consumption ( at least 2 a week) after sometime became normal again.

Also, recommended if you can find fenugreek or methi seeds (again in local stores) , soak the seeds in normal drinkable water overnight, remove the seeds and drink this water in the morning after brushing teeth but before morng coffee.Alternatively, try to find whether fenugreek /methi powder is available, refrigerate this powder. Put a tsp of this powder in a glass of water everyday and consume it early morng. This is also bitter in taste, I dont think fenugreek leaves / greens are available in the US, but they are outside. They are also helpful in bringing down b.s. levels. That's all from me.

Good luck!

Thanx,

VM
