I'm also happy to see that you are continuing to use your meter to make sure that your results are what you want them to be. There are many good choices of whose diet to follow, and I think that each of us diabetics will find that we may have particular sensitivities to particular foods. The first time my husband and I sat down to a dinner made of home-made mashed potatoes mixed with corn (no added fats, no dairy), I was really worried about what my AM reading would be, but it was one of the lowest I had had in weeks. My suggestion: try a low-fat vegan diet, keep testing, and see what result you have after 30 days, after 90 days, after 6 months. You'll find a way to do this well, I'm certain. |
