I'm about to post a link to how-to-get-started as a diabetic vegetarian. Yes, Vegan means "strict vegetarian", so under these circumstances - eating vegan for our health- that would mean: No beef, no pork, no poultry, no fish, no dairy, no eggs, no cheese, no yogurt, no milk. Most vegans also adopt a No Honey policy. The 'ethical' or 'moral' vegan, who adopts a vegan lifestyle because he/she is opposed to humanity's inhumane treatment of non-humans often also adopts a no-leather, no wool, no silk, (etc, etc) policy. Best of luck! Raine |
