I doubt your reactions are true hypoglycemia. This is simply my bias, and I may well be wrong. Hypoglycemic episodes are horrible (nausea, shaking, sweatiness, fainting, etc.) and I do indeed hope that you are not actually experiencing them.

I suggest you get a blood sugar meter (blood glucose meter) and check your blood sugar readings after meals and during the times that you experience these troubling symptoms. Most North American drugstores now sell these, without a prescription, with 30-100 strips (each test requires use of one strip), which will give you a good sample of what your numbers are.

Hypoglycemia is one of those over-diagnosed problems with vague symptoms that was very popular among physicians several years back.

I recommend Dr. John McDougall's dietary programs. It is appropriate for a wide range of medical issues.
