I want to do this so bad!
I became a vegatarian in 9th grade but I never liked veggies that much so I ended up eating mostly carbs and sugars. Now I have insulin resistance and I feel like crap every single day. I've started eating meat again in hopes that I might start feeling better but it's not working. I'm supposed to take 2,000mg of Metformin a day but I can only do half that without throwing up. I still throw up at random :-(
I guess I'm just having trouble because I'm not used to eating healthy but I'm just so tired of being sick every single day and having no energy what so ever. I also tend to cave in to bad habbits. My mom eats worse than I do (I was raised on carbs and sugars) and we are used to going out when she gets off work to eat dinner.
How do you do it?
Do you have any good recipes?
Do you eat any bread at all? I'm not supposed to but I still do. I try to only eat whole grain wheat.
-Veggies
-Fruit
-Nuts
