I don't know the answer to your question - but why don't you call up a priest in your area - or even better, if you could talk to the priest at your grandfather's church, and ask. There very well might be such a ritual! Even if there is not a specific blessing or ritual for this, the priest might still be willing to come and bless your grandfather and your family. RS
