Subject: Any Catholic Vegans? Questions....

My dh eats meat because he said that God gave us animals to eat and Jesus said we could eat anything we wanted.

Does the Bible support vegetarianism or veganism at all?

My dh is a strong Catholic and he believes strongly in the Bible. Does anyone know of any Biblical passages applicable to this? Or any websites or books?
