I did not mean that you can live in mortal sin, and have the promise of the Brown Scapular, whoesover wears this Scapular shall not suffer eternal fire, apply. It is a constant reminder that Mary is with you though, and there is a stipulation to wearing the Brown Scapular that you should pray the Rosary too. If you practice these two devotions how can you live in mortal sin? You will either give up the one or embrace the other.
