Subject: The Brown Scapular

Many Catholics today have stopped the simple practice of wearing Mary’s Brown Scapular. The promise is forgotten. It is a throw over from the past they say. My opinion though, on this is that Catholics do not wear Our Lady’s garment because many Catholics are not taught about hell by most Priests anymore.

How can we afford not to be invested in this habit when it holds the promise whosoever dies wearing this scapular shall not suffer Eternal Fire?

We should thank God for this tremendous promise Our Lady has obtained from Him. To be clothed in Our Lady’s garment shows our devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It is a badge that shows our fidelity to her. Can we not make this small sacrifice for her?

Must we miss this opportunity? Ask your Priest to invest you in the Brown Scapular.
